Rebet Asker Greek Roots Series: Sevdalides

The newly formed quartet “Oi Sevdalides” have the honour of officially appearing for the first time at the Green Note in Camden. The programme will be based on Rebetiko repertoire by various artists, ranging from different periods of the Rebetiko era. This repertoire consists of a few known rebetiko songs but the majority will be songs that are not often heard.

‘Oi Sevdalides’ is a newly formed group. Our philosophy revolves around the concept of music and good company. All members of the band perform professionally and are involved in various projects in London and internationally. Our aim is to spread the music and have fun while doing it.
