March 10th | Rebet Asker Greek Roots Series: Yarès
Yarès is a duo formation focusing on Greek Rebetiko music from 1920's to 1950's. Their repertoire explores less known songs about the love and hardship of the Greek immigrants of Turkey, including notable composers such as Tountas, Skarvelis and Mitsakis.
March 9th | Greek Serenade
An evening of traditional music with beautiful, soul searching melodies, and compelling, infectious dance provoking rhythms in the nostalgic, vibrant atmosphere of Greek Rebetiko.
March 2nd | Greek Music for Gaza
A concert of Greek rebetiko music to raise money for children suffering the consequences of the conflict in Gaza.

October 22th | Smyrneika 'B-side'
'Smyrneika' are songs that were recorded in the early parts of the 20th century in Istanbul or Smyrni from Greeks living there based mainly on 'Makams' (modal music). B-side, as on old cassettes, is the “Secondary” … unlikely to become “hit records” and not “the focus of promotional efforts”.

A tribute to one of our musical legends, Kostas Skarvelis (1880-1922), a unique composer and virtuoso guitarist. Skarvelis's signature melodies are a testament to the Constantinopolitan urban musical tradition, a rich tapestry of sounds and emotions.
September 16th | Gr Roots Series: Tribute to Tsitsanis
A tribute to Vasilis Tsitsanis (1915-1984), a unique composer, musician and innovator setting the path from rebetiko to laiko through a significant number of compositions. We will be performing less known compositions and a few classics.
